5 Best Foods that Help in Liver Regeneration

Among the different organs of the body, liver has the greatest capacity to regenerate. When the liver tissues are injured and damaged, the liver gradually regenerates and regains its former size. It usually takes about six months for the liver with as little as 25% of healthy liver tissues to re-grow and attain its full size. As the liver is the body’s main organ for metabolism of drugs and chemicals, it is exposed to a number of toxins that are harmful for the liver tissues.
