Take three teaspoons of fenugreek seeds and drop them in 300ml of boiling water.Allow the seeds to steep in water for 20-25 minutes. Allow the water to come down to room temperature and then drain it.Use the water to gargle. Fenugreek seeds gargle will help bring down the inflammation and reduce pain in tonsils.
Salt Water Gargle
Boil 200ml of water and add a teaspoon of salt in it. Use this salt water for gargling.The treatment should be done twice a day for preventing formation of pus around the tonsils. The salt water is also helpful for clearing the food particles stuck in between the teeth. These food particles are responsible for attracting infection causing bacteria and causing tonsil stones.
