Skin Inflammation – Regular massage of skin surrounding inflamed portions with peppermint oil confines the spread of inflammation. Persons with known medical history of skin allergies should dilute this essential oil with pure vegetable oil.

Nausea – Massaging abdomen with few drops of peppermint essential oil results in attenuation of symptoms associated with nausea.

Hunger Control – Since ages, peppermint oil is widely used by health experts to treat certain eating disorders like overeating. Inhalation of pure peppermint oil results in reduced libido for food thus, prevents overeating.

Mouth Odor – One drop of peppermint oil placed on tip of tongue miraculously eradicates bad smell.

Poison – It is recommended for individuals suffering from poison ivy to drop few drops of peppermint essential oil on affected area to get rid of pain and spread of poison.
