Almond Beauty Recipes
Almond is an oval shaped seed that is rich in vitamins and minerals. It consists of vitamin B and E, calcium, iron etc. Almond can produce a soothing and softening effect on the skin.
Almond can also produce a bleaching effect on the skin. Almond if grounded can be used for exfoliating the skin.
Almond Face Pack
Take one tablespoon almonds and crush them well. Then in another microwave safe bowl take one tablespoon honey, one teaspoon dried lavender and half teaspoon almond oil or olive oil. Mix them well and heat in a microwave for 20 seconds. This stimulates the ingredients in lavender and it will emit a soothing smell. Now mix the oil mixture with crushed almonds and apply this paste on your face. Keep the pack for about 5 minutes and then wash with warm water followed by cool water.
Almond Oatmeal Face Pack
Mix one teaspoon oatmeal, one teaspoon ground almonds, half teaspoon apple juice and one drop geranium essential oil in a bowl. Then gently massage this mixture on your face and wash off with luke warm water immediately.
Almond Mayonnaise Scrub
Get quarter cup of almond and grind them well to make a mixture and then add 1/8 teaspoon mayonnaise in to this and mix well. Wash your face with natural vinegar and then scrub with this almond mixture. Keep this mixture on your face for about 10 minutes and rinse with water followed by vinegar.
Almond Hair Pack
Take two table spoon almonds and crush them in to pieces. Now scoop out the avocado pulp from one avocado and cut half of the banana in to pieces and mash them well with the avocado pulp. Then add one tablespoon olive oil in to the mixture and then the crushed avocados.
Allow this mixture to stand for 15 minutes as this allows the constituent to mix up well and also allows the oil present in the almonds to ooze out. After wards apply this mixture on your dry skin and leave it for 30 minutes and wash off with warm water.
