Beauty Tips For Glowing SkinPsychologists have also admitted that from infancy to old age human beings are suckers for a beautiful face. No matter how much we say that looks don’t matter, it is the physical appearance of the person that we notice first. But why should you be ashamed of this? We are born with a love for beauty and no matter what people say beauty is not just skin deep.

A beautiful person is a delight to the eyes. Well, not everyone is born with chiseled looks but efforts can be made to get as attractive an appearance as possible. One of the most important factors that determines a person’s physical attractiveness is the appearance of the skin. It may seem that very few people are blessed with beautiful glowing skin but the good news is everyone can have it with efforts, perseverance, discipline and sincerity.

The most important thing you should keep in mind is that everything you put in your mouth would come out to show on your face and hair. So eat mindfully from today and shun all unhealthy junk food. It is also important that you get rid of habit of eating out of boredom. Eat only when you are hungry and that too in appropriate quantities.

Remember, good digestion is the secret behind beautiful skin. It is the food we eat and its assimilation into the body that determines the appearance of our skin. So eat things that are good for your skin. Include a lot of antioxidant rich food items (food rich in vitamins A, C and E) in your diet.

Make sure that you eat lots of raw fruits and salads everyday. But stay away from juices. According to Ayurveda, it is not a very healthy practice to drink juices. So stick to whole fruits.

What you apply to skin also makes a great deal of difference. According to the ancient healing system of Ayurveda, one should never apply anything to the skin that cannot be eaten. This is because everything we apply gets quickly absorbed into the body. Hence, we need to be very careful about what we are feeding our body.

Cleansing, moisturizing and toning the skin is, indeed, very essential. But to retain your beauty for as long as you live, you should feed it with all natural products. Besides, enhancing your beauty it would also help save your precious mullah for other fun things.

Prepare a skin cleanser by taking some fullers’ earth, red lentil powder, rose petal powder, cinnamon powder and fennel powder. Mix all of them in rose water to form a thick paste. Apply it evenly to your face and neck. Wash off first with cold milk and then with ice cold water.

This cleanser is excellent for oily to combination skin. However, if your skin is very dry, you can substitute fullers’ earth with gram flour. Use this cleanser every time you wish to cleanse your face. It would give you a beautiful natural glow without allowing any harmful chemicals to permeate into your body.

However, to boost the benefits and to ensure that your skin gets cleaned from deep within, dip a cotton ball in some raw milk to which a pinch of salt has been added and wipe your face and neck with it. This would ensure that the cleanser penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin.

In case you have excessively oily skin, it would be wonderful to massage your face with fresh yoghurt to which the juice of one-fourth lime has been added. Massage it into the skin in gentle circular movements for 5-10 minutes everyday.

It would not only reduce the oiliness of your skin but would also make it glow. For dry to normal skin, take some fresh cream, honey and (soaked and ground) fenugreek. Whip all of them together to form a thick paste. Massage into the skin everyday for 5-10 minutes.

Nourishing and toning the skin is also very important. To prepare your very own toner, take some cucumber juice, orange juice and a few drops of fresh lime. Apply to your skin and then wash off after 20-25 minutes. In case of excessively dry skin, you can also add some honey to it.

Regular application of a protein pack would also do wonders to your skin. Take some chickpea flour, clove powder, (soaked and ground) 5-6 almonds and a pinch of turmeric. Mix all of them together in soy milk to form a dense paste. Apply evenly to your face and neck. You can also add a few drops of wheatgerm and avocado essential oils respectively to this pack. It would further enhance the benefits.

Following all these recommendations regularly would work wonders for your skin. But another very important factor behind the attainment of glowing skin is your blood circulation. Have you ever noticed how your skin glows after a rigorous workout session?

However, the best way to attain glowing skin and increased blood circulation is through the practice of yoga. Yoga not only massages every organ of the body, it also helps the body get rid of toxins and further activates the functioning of the lymph nodes.

You can also dry brush your entire body with a natural bristle brush to boost lymphatic drainage, thereby, rendering a glow to your skin. Also, dip two thick towels in ice cold water and boiling hot water respectively. Carefully wring the water out and then put the hot towel on your face first.

Keep it for 5-10 minutes and allow the steam to penetrate the skin. Then apply the cold towel and keep for the same amount of time. Do the whole treatment one more time. This time you can gently rub the hot towel all over your face (after having kept it for the required amount of time). This would act like a gentle scrub for your skin. You should do this treatment once a week for best results.

These treatments and recommendations would definitely help but never forget those 10-12 glasses of water. Without their aid it is almost impossible to attain the beautiful glowing skin you so very much desire.
