To accelerate fat loss, you should include at least one serving of any MUFA rich food in your diet. Olive oil is one of the richest sources of MUFA. You should use olive oil for cooking or as salad dressing and marinades. Other than olive oil sunflower oil, soybean oil, safflower oil, peanut oil, canola oil, walnut oil, flaxseed oil and peanut oil contain large amounts of monounsaturated fatty acids.

Fruits such as olive and avocado are also rich in monounsaturated fatty acids. You can have a cup of avocado flesh or ten large olives in your meal. Most nuts and seeds contain adequate amounts of MUFA. Another delectable source of MUFA, which you would love to include in your diet, is dark chocolate.

Reduce sugar and refined carbohydrate intake

To flatten your belly, you should overcome your sugar craving. Diet for reducing belly fat should comprise primarily of proteins, healthy fats, vegetables and small amounts of complex carbohydrates and sugar. You should stay away from all times of sweet dishes. Even artificial sweeteners should be avoided. Although fruits are rich in nutrients, they are usually major sources of natural sugar. To minimize belly fat, you should reduce the size of the fruit portions.
