Grape juice is found to have good therapeutic values. Grape juice is a good source of anti-oxidants. Grape juice is also enriched with vitamin A, C, B6, folate, iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, selenium etc. Grape juice also consists of falvonoids which is a naturally formed plant based compound.

Flavonoids present in grape juice help you to increase the amount of good cholesterol in your body and at the same time help you to lower the risks of clogged arteries. It may also help you to lower the blood pressure. The anti oxidants in grapes inhibit the bad cholesterol from getting oxidized and block the blood vessels.

Grape juice also increases the level of nitric oxides in the blood which in turn prevents the blood from clotting and thus lowers your risks for heart attacks. The concord grapes are found to contain a flavonoid called resveratrol.

Reduces Constipation

Grapes are ideal for avoiding constipation as it contains organic acids, cellulose, sugar etc. It may also help you in toning the stomach and intestine and thus gives your relief from chronic constipation. Grape juice is considered as a good laxative.

Grape juice is ideal for improving the functions of brain like co-ordination and memory. The favonoid called resveratrol helps to lower the amount of amyloidal-beta peptides in Alzheimer’s patients and thus help them to control the development of disease. Grape juice thus can enhance the health of the brain. It can also help you to stop the attack of neurodegenerative disease.

The flavonoids, anti-oxidants etc in rape juice help you to fortify your immune system and also help you to fight with the damages caused by the free radicals present in the body. Free radicals is left as such will increase your chances for getting cancer.

Proanthocyanidins and anthocyanins help to inhibit the proliferation of the cancer cells. Thus grape juice helps you to prevent the growth and proliferation of cancer especially breast cancer and colorectal cancer.
