Mulberry is found in Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. The white mulberry trees are believed to have originated in central and eastern regions of China. Black mulberry is a native plant of west Asia.
The red mulberry is a native of North America. The botanical name of mulberry is Morus Alba. Mulberry plants prefer warm temperate subtropical climates.
Mulberry is a tall tree. The white varieties could grow up to a height of 80 feet. The black mulberry trees, which are shortest mulberry species, grow up to 30 feet tall.
