Bold and Beautiful

How often we have to let go of dressing up like we want to, just because we don’t have enough time to sit in front of the mirror and work on our face like we would want to. And how many times have we found ourselves bereft of make up even though we have left home having applied enough. The biggest problems today are the lack of time to dress up, and having to touch up on our make up constantly to ensure that it is still fresh and lively. Here are simple makeup tips to work around these problems easily.
For those who do not have enough time to hydrate the face well, or go for the regular facial to the salon, there is no need to depair. Try using a serum on the face. Available for all types, you may choose your favourite according to your needs. Serums not only help balance the face well, but also hydrate the best. They are not only easier to apply as they blend into the face almost instantly, but also repair and protect the skin much longer.
Applying creams to the face every so often is not really possible, especially if you have a long day ahead. So what does one do if they are stuck indoors with heavy airconditioning to keep the face from losing all moisture? Try using a day and night cream which is not only less sticky and more friendly, but also saves the skin for most part of the day.
Everyone wants great looking eyes, but not all of us have the liberty to agonise over them. Try using pen eyeliners instead of your regular liquid ones. These apply better, have not fear of smudging and drying completely, and give the most beaustiful finish. Available in various shades and finishes like shimmers, these are perfect for all occasions.
It’s not alien for women to have to run to the bathroom often to slap on a new layer of compact regularly. The problem with these is that they tend to lose efefctiveness as the day wears on and the skin picks up oil and dirt easier. Try using water based foundations which save the skin from drying up, and also lend a smoother, better finish to last the day. They also bring out the use of other cosmetics like blushes better.
Avoid using creamy, and glossy shades of lipstick. These stick to the lips, and once they lose shine over time, look rather tacky. Opt instead, for non-glossy finishes, and look for a shade that suits your skin and the occasion. These will stay longer, and look better.
