Causes and Remedies of Eczema

Eczema is a skin disorder caused by inflammation. Here the skin will become very dry resulting in itching and scaly skin. It may produce blisters which are surrounded by red colored skin. Sometimes there will be a fluid discharge from the blisters. These parts on scratching may expose the raw skin and may leads to bleeding. It is commonly seen in hands, arms, wrist, neck, legs, face etc.
It is an inherited disease. Other reasons for eczema are nutritional deficiencies like deficiency of vitamin B6, varicose vein and allergies to certain substances like smoke, detergents, chemicals, dust etc. Inability of the body to expel toxins from the blood and any problem in circulation of blood may also result in eczema. Hot and cold weather, stress, emotional stress etc may also cause eczema.
Diet
If you are allergic to some substances then you must take care of your diet. This is because the food that causes allergies will trigger the development of eczema. Try to avoid the milk and milk products, nuts, eggs, citrus fruits, preservatives etc as they are keen to develop allergies. Drink as much water as possible as this will help you to replace the moisture content of the skin.
Neem
Neem is found to have a good quality of treating skin diseases. Hence the application of neem leaf paste on the affected area will help you to cure the disease. You can also add turmeric powder along with this paste.
Cold neem oil will have ore power as it contains active ingredients in concentrated form. This will reduce the redness of the skin and the itching. Neem based products like shampoo and soap will help you to relive eczema.
Sandalwood and Camphor
Mix one teaspoon each of sandalwood powder and camphor powder and apply this paste on the blisters or rashes of eczema.
Blueberry Leaf
Blueberry leaves contain chlorogenic acid and is an anti microbial agent. Application of blueberry leaf extract will reduce the itching and swelling of eczema.
Nutmeg Seed
Make a paste by rubbing the nutmeg seed against a smooth surface along with some water. Apply the nutmeg paste on the affected area.
