This infection is accompanied with microscopic level of blood in urine, strong smell of urine and burning sensation while urinating.

Kidney stones or bladder stones may also cause blood in urine and at times it may cause pain in the abdomen especially when the stone blocks the urinary tract. Cancer or tumors in any part of the urinary tract may also leads to bleeding.
