Causes And Symptoms Of Hysteria

Hysteria is a nervous disorder that affects one’s psychological conditions and the person reacts in an uncontrolled manner towards the surroundings. They express extreme and unpredictable anger, fear, depression, hatred, frustration and become very emotional.
The symptoms of hysteria may vary from person to person and most of them always complain about having a problem in any of their organ. If affects people of all sexes but mostly it affects the females between the age of fourteen to twenty five years. After twenty five years the frequency of hysteria is less common and is rare after forty five years.
Causes of Hysteria
Anxiety is considered to be the main cause of hysteria. Sometimes the way in which the parents deal with their kid’s emotional problems makes them to react in an extreme manner to the situations in their future life.
Sexual repressions may also leads to hysteria and similarly mental, sexual and physical abuse may also ends up in hysteria. If you are scolding your child for simple reasons then it makes them introverts and finally they may be at the risk of having hysteria.
Family history of hysteria, nervousness, mental strain etc may also leads to hysteria. Excessive idleness, depression, prolonged sickness, brain tumor, worry etc are all reasons for hysteria.
Symptoms of Hysteria
There are no common symptoms for hysteria. Different people react differently. Many of them show respiratory problems, high heart rates, difficulty in maintaining the balance of the body, spasms in the muscles, headache, weakness etc. While certain others shows difficulty in speaking and acts like something is stuck in their throat.
Loss of consciousness, violent outburst and yelling are some of the symptoms commonly seen in such people. Most probably they may have less stability towards emotions and may have no will power.
Swelling ine the neck, suffocation, heaviness in the limbs etc are also seen. Sometimes the person seems to be out of contact with the surroundings. Extreme salivation, redness in the eyes, clenching of teeth are also seen.
In order to avoid such conditions in your life you have to keep yourself active and avoid the habits of drugs and alcohol.
