Chicken Pox Scar Treatment


As long as you do not scratch the chicken pox blisters, chances of getting chicken pox scars is minimal. Any scar left behind after you recover from chicken pox, fades off naturally within a few weeks.

Preventing scars

Sandalwood paste, besides soothing the skin, can also help to clear the scar. You can also apply vitamin E oil on the scar. It provides nourishment to your skin, facilitating the rejuvenation of the skin cells to fade the scar. Similarly applying honey on the scar can help to remove it.

Aloe Vera gel can also be used to remove the scar. Cocoa butter and tea tree oil can also help to remove chicken pox scars. To help your body to remain fresh and cool drink plenty of water during the healing process. Vitamin K is essential for healing the scars. Include vitamin K rich food, such as tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, turnips, lean meats, liver and airy products, in your daily diet.
