Chicken Soup Diet

A chicken soup diet is one that lasts for seven days. In chicken soup diet you can take one among the five recommended breakfast each day and drink as much as chicken soup. This may help the dieter to loss good amount of weight in seven days time with out doing any heavy exercise.

This soup is made of chicken and different types of vegetables that supplies all the nutrients necessary to remain healthy and is very low in calorie. Hence the dieter can reduce his weight while remaining healthy.

Chicken Soup

Take a large soup pot and to this add two tablespoon olive oil and keep it in a moderate heat. Then add four parsnips cut to about half inch pieces, 4 ribs celery, one turnip cut to half inch pieces, one jalapeno pepper that is seeded and chopped, one tablespoon of chopped garlic, half teaspoon cayenne pepper and two teaspoon of salt. Cook these vegetables in medium heat till they become tender but still remains crisp. This may take almost 15 minutes. Then add 16 ounce frozen carrot, 10 ounce frozen broccoli florets, ten ounce frozen and chopped collard greens, one tablespoon dried dill, one and a half cup frozen and chopped onions, one and a half pound freshly cooked chicken and ΒΌ cup of lemon juice to the soup pot. Allow the entire content to boil and then keep it in low heat for about 5 minutes. Now your chicken soup is ready and you can make 26 single cup servings with this.

Recommended Breakfasts

It will be ideal to choose each breakfast at least once and then repeat the preferred one in last two days.

Breakfast one

Take half cup fruit salad mixed with one cup of vanilla yogurt which is a nonfat one. Consume it after sprinkling with wheat germ.

Breakfast two

Take two pieces of toasted whole grain bread and three dried figs along with one cup ricotta cheese mixed with half teaspoon sugar and a pinch of cinnamon powder.

Breakfast three

Include half cup orange juice that is rich in calcium and half cup nonfat milk along with one and a half cup of cereal.

Breakfast four

Take half cup prune juice along with a small whole wheat bagel which is topped with one ounce of fat free melted cheddar cheese.

Breakfast five

Consume wheatena cereal of about one and a half cups along with half cup of nonfat milk.
