Cucumber Skin Care Recipes

You can make use of the cucumbers in your kitchen for beautifying your skin. Cucumber can protect your skin from the effects of sun burn.

It will also help you to tighten the pores on the skin and can also be used as a deodorant. Cucumber has a cleansing effect on your skin and it will help you to rejuvenate the skin.

Cucumber Egg White Mask

Cut a half of the cucumber along with its skin. This skin of cucumber has several vitamins that can protect your skin. Cut it in to pieces and put in to the blender. Add one teaspoon lemon juice, one teaspoon mint and one egg white to the blender and blend them all. Refrigerate the mixture for about 10 minutes and then spread the mixture on your face. Keep it for about 15 minutes and there after rinse it with tepid water and then with cool water.

Cucumber Lemon Tonic

Take one cup of witch hazel in a glass bowl and add the juice of one freshly cut lemon in to this. Also add three tablespoon cucumber that is chopped coarsely. Mix the entire contents and allow it to set for two days. Then remove the cucumber and store the lotion in the refrigerator. You can use this as a deodorant and spray on your body.

Cucumber Cleanser

Take 90 ml cucumber juice and 90 ml distilled water in a bowl and add 45 ml rosewater in to this mixture and blend them well. Rub this mixture on your face and remove it with warm water.

Cucumber Cleansing Cream

Take three teaspoon beeswax, five teaspoon olive oil and four teaspoon coconut oil in a pan in a double boiler and heat it in low flame till the wax melts. Take four tablespoon cucumber juice, one teaspoon glycerin, one drop green color and if required and a pinch of borax in another bowl and heat it till the borax melts.

Remove the pan and bowl from the heat and add the cucumber juice mixture in to the oil mixture drop by drop with constant stirring. Beat the mixture well till it becomes thick. You can use the cleansing cream when it becomes cool.
