Perspiration is the release of excessive water from the body along with certain dissolved impurities. Our skin has pores and perspiration is the transpiration through the skin. Skin has sebaceous gland and these sebaceous gland will filter impurities through the skin pores along with some excess water . All people perspire normally and certain conditions like obesity, diabetes, menopause, pituitary disorder etc leads to excessive perspiration.
Excessive perspiration is also called hyperhidrosis. The substances that cause Odor in human sweat are 4 methylphenol and 2- methylphenol and some people have more of these odoriferous substances in their sweat and thus cause offensive perspiration. Excessive and offensive perspiration makes you embarrassed and here are some remedies to get rid of the excess perspiration.
Remedies for Excess Perspiration
Lemon
Immerse some lemons in water and when it becomes soft cut them in to halves and use these halves to rub the armpit and on the areas that have excess sweat. This will help you to get rid of the bacteria and thus avoid the offensive perspiration.
Sage Tea
Make tea out of sage leaves and drink this tea at least fives times a day. This will reduce the perspiration to about 50 percent.
Tomato Juice
Drink tomato juice daily for about a week and afterwards drink tomato juice on alternate days. This will help you to reduce the excess perspiration. There after drink tomato juice whenever needed.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apply apple cider vinegar on the armpit and on the areas of excessive sweat and this may help you to reduce the perspiration. You can also drink two teaspoon of apple cider vinegar mixed with equal quantities of honey in empty stomach for at least three times a day.
Pomegranate
Add a few peels of pomegranate in to a bucket of warm water and use this water to wash your body. This may help you to control the perspiration.
Rosewater
Add a few drops of rosewater in to a bucket of water and use this water for bathing. This will protect your body from offensive perspiration.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine from your diet and drink a lot of water. Also try to have a well balanced diet along with enough exercise to control the offensive perspiration.
