It is not possible to get immediate attention for tooth troubles always. There are times when they can only be attended to later. In the interim, there are many ways to stop toothache within the house. Here are home remedies for toothache.

Take a pinch of pepper powder, and add some common salt to it. It is an excellent cure for toothache. Use of this mixture on a daily basis prevents the formation of cavities, bad breath, bleding gums, and treats increased sensitiveness of teeth.

Mix a little asafoetida in to lemon juice. Soak a swab of cotton into this liquid and place it in the affected dental cavity. This should help give immediate relief to the pain.

Apply clove oil into the cavity that is affected by pain. It should help relieve immediately. Antiseptic properties of clove oil help treat pains well.

Garlic is another effective curant. Add a pinch of rock salt to a clove of garlic and place on the affected tooth. It will cure the pain instantly.

Raw onion is very effective in killing germs in the mouth. Regular eating of raw onions as a part of the regular diet will help keep most tooth problems at bay. Placing a small piece of raw onion near the affected tooth will help kill germs around the area and also relieve pain.
