Curing Patchy Skin
We often find our skin affected by pigmentation, black spots, patches and uneven skin tone. This not only affects the face, but also other parts of the body. These problems are mostly encountered due to large amounts of sun exposure, allergies, and sometimes even internal disturbances. Inadequate nutrition or deficiencies can also cause pigmentation or rashes on the skin. Ascertain the exact reason for the problem, which might sometimes require medication.
Simple routines using houshold products can help reverse pigmentation and other skin conditions.
The routine requires the use of carrot, cucumber, honey, green gram and milk.
First cleanse the face well and pat dry. Then take the juice of the cucumber and apply to the skin well. Take some tissue and wipe away.
Take a little honey on the tips of the fingers and apply to the spots that are affected. Start with the face and then go to other parts like the neck, hands and back. Once you have applied the honey use small rotary movements to allow it to sink in. Follow this with the generous application of carrot juice to the same spots. Use larger motions on the skin. Use wider movements on the hands and back.
Take the green gram and grind coarsely. Mix with a little milk and apply on the skin well. Start with the face first. Use the fingers to apply little pressure and exfoliate well. While applying on the other parts, use a little more pressure than on the face. This will massage the skin well and also yield better results. Then, take a mixture of the cucumber, carrot, milk and green gram and make a pack for the skin. Apply generously to all parts and leave on for half an hour. Wash off with lukewarm water once done. Follow this every ten days and the skin will improve greatly.
