Red cells found in blood consists hemoglobin that works as a transporter of oxygen in veins and arteries and supply it to tissues of entire body. A decrease in hemoglobin results in a decreased carrier capacity of blood causing insufficient oxygen to the tissues making them weak.

Reduced consumption of iron and protein in daily diet leads to a diminutive formation of RBC’s in bone marrow.  By following the given below healthy dietary tips, it is possible for a patient of anemia to attain desired results with in few days.

Consumption of iron – One of the major root causes of anemia is inadequate intake of iron. Cereals, beans, green leafy vegetables, eggs, fruits, beets and dry dates are good source of iron therefore a combination of these food items in meals is a great step towards facilitaing rapid formation of red blood cells to pace up the recovery procedure of anemia.

Intake of vitamin B12 – Apart from iron, vitamin B12 is a crucial component used in formation of red blood cells. Weak capability of digestive system to absorb B12 results in an obstruction of red cells production. Vitamin B12 is found in animal based food products like meat, dairy products and fish. It is vital to include ample quantity of vitamin B12 in daily diet chart to prevent anemia.

Vitamin CVitamin C assists to absorb and preserve iron in the body. Intake of citrus fruits and vegetables as lemon is helpful to cure anemia. It is advisable for persons suffering from anemia to consume fresh citrus fruits several times during a day to rapidly cure the anemia.

Honey – Honey is a rich source of copper, iron, manganese, folic acid and vitamin B12. Daily intake of honey, apple-juice and beetroot in equivalent proportion cures anemia rapidly.

Way to cook – Food cooked in iron pans absorb components of metal during the cooking process resulting in an iron rich food.
