Easy Nose Bleeding Remedy
Nose bleeding may occur due to several reasons. It may occur in both children and adults. Nose bleeding by large is a minor condition. However, in some instances it can be threatening in elderly people.
Causes of nose bleeding
Nose bleeding may occur from nose infection, minor nose injury and trauma. Nasal congestion, blowing the nose too forcefully, flu, cold, allergy and sinusitis are the most common and least serious causes of nose bleeding. People suffering from hypertension often experience nose bleeding. Nose bleeding might also occur due to climatic conditions, such as extreme dryness and cold. Nose bleeding might be the side effect of intake of certain blood thinning medicines, substance abuse and alcoholism.
Nose bleeding remedy
In most instances, nose bleeding heals naturally within a short time span. Nonetheless, you can stop nose bleeding through some easy ways. Apply a cold or ice pack on the bridge of the nostrils. Alternately, dip cotton in apple cider vinegar and put it on the exterior of the bleeding nostril. This helps to stop bleeding. Through reflex vasoconstriction, your bleeding would cease. Sometimes inhaling the fragrance of pomegranate flower juice could escalate the healing process. In majority of cases, nose bleeding occurs when nostrils become dry.
Saline nasal spray helps to stop the nose bleeding. Saline water makes the nostrils humid. In addition salt is a natural antiseptic, which cleans the bacteria and virus responsible for creating nose infections. You must also ensure that the air inside your room is not exceedingly dry. An air humidifier could add humidity to the air inside your house. If you are prone to nose bleeding due to excess atmospheric dryness, you can use a salt-water solution for spraying your nose, twice a day.
When you experience nose bleeding, ensure that the clot does not remain inside the nostrils. Blow your nose to flash out the clot. By removing the clot, the wound will contract rapidly.
