Easy Tips for Eye, Ear, Throat Care
Eye, ear and throat are easily susceptible to weather changes. Therefore, often have complaints of slight pains, irritations, and wateriness.Here are some simple tips to ensure good care of our eye, ear and throat:
• Eye care:
Giving rest to your eyes helps in increasing their beauty and radiance.
Close your eyes, and put few thin slices of cucumber on your eyelids. Keep it on for 20 minutes. Repeat this thrice alternately every week.
To remove dark circles underneath your eyes, dip a piece of cotton in warm salt water, and apply it on the affected area. Remove only after, it loses its warmth.
Those who work on computers must take a 3 minute break, after every 30 minutes of work.Eyes tend to get reddish on looking at computer screen for long hours.
• Ear care:
Pain in the ears can be relieved on, taking in vapours from luke warm water.
Cover a hot water bag with a towel and place your ears above it .It gives lots of relief from the pain.
Warm some coconut oil, and apply it on the exterior lobes of your ear. It helps in reducing the intensity of the pain in the ears.
Don’t drink refrigerated drinks. It only aggravates your problem.
While travelling long distances, make sure you cover your ears with cotton buds or a scarf, to avoid any kind of irritation in the ears.
If the pain persists, and a slight reddishness is seen on the exteriors of the ear, or if it swells up, you must immediately visit the E.N.T.
• Throat care:
Irrespective of the season, make it a habit to gargle your throat with luke warm water every day. it helps in reducing chances of throat pain and also avoids bad breathe, owing to throat problems.
If you catch cough and cold, gargle your throat with warm salted water at an interval of 3hours.
