Effective Cures for Eczema
Eczema is a skin condition that can hurt both the infected and those around. A skin condition which is largely an inflammatory disorder, eczema requires great care. The citucles are scaly, often with a sticky discharge. The fissures are accompanied by a lot of irritation, itching and pain around the affected areas. The main types of eczema are dry, and weeping or wet eczema. Simple remedies can help arrest eczema quickly.
The main precaution is hygiene. The patient must be placed in the most hygienic conditions. Clothes, linen and towels must be washed in warm water and cleaned well to prevent further infections. The people around the patient must also observe great hygiene for their own safety. Avoid using the patient’s towels, utensils and clothes.
Applying mustard oil like an ointment iver the affected areas can help check the spread of eczema.
Neem is a very effective cure. Use neem soap, and neem water while bathing. This will help kill germs and infections.
Leaves of either basil or the Indian Butter tree should be warmed with sesame oil and placed either like a bandage over the areas, or applied all over affected parts every three to four hours daily.
The blood must be kept pure. Purifying medicines, and foods must be had. Pommegranates, dates and papayas are good foods that help purify the blood.
Fresh rice should be avoided. Other sour foods like curd, fish and excess salt should also be avoided. The best foods at this time are bland foods that are easily digestible and do not irritate the body. Also avoid excessive coitus. Sleeping too much in the day, and eating too much are also not too good for the patient, and should be kept in check.
Turmeric can help heal areas well. Use fresh turmeric that is ground and apply over the affected portions, or use turmeric powder mixed with mustard oil.
