Fashionable Nails
The ultimate finish to any look is beautiful hands and beautiful nails. We all take great care in ensuring that our hands are well manicures, and that we have taken the trouble to keep our nails trimmed and painted. The look can still go all wrong.
We often tend to forget that our constitution, our lifestyles and our own personalities are factors that go to make the final appearance. If we dress or accessorise ourself in a manner which does not go with any of these dimensions, we are heading for disaster. Our nails are no exception.
Dress the nails to suit the hand, and also the skin tone of your body. Here are some simple pointers.
Pale shimmers are best suited for narrow nails. Avoid the use of dark colours as they give a perception of enhanced thinness.
Deeper, richer tones are the best for broader nails. They not only help give more accent to the nails, but also make them look more contoured and correct any imperfections in them.
Short nails are best painted in more muted, pale colours. Nudes are ideal for shorter nails. Darker colours will only make them look more stubby.
Longer nails can be coloured in darker shades. This will help give a more balanced look to the nails overall.
Those with darker complexions should use brighter colours, maroons, reddish and plum shades.
If you have fairer skin, try and use peaches, light pinks, beige and coral shades. Those with wheatish skin can feel free to dress their nails in any colour.
Remember though, that the kind of life you lead is also important for your nails. Do not grow your nails too long if you use them frequently and in a rough manner. It is always better to have shorter, healthy nails than long, unkept nails that break constantly.
Dress your nails intelligently and stun with your looks.
