Health Benefits of Black Tea

Prevents Cardiovascular Diseases – Due to the tremendous therapeutic properties of black tea, its regular intake minimizes the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.

For the last 20-30 years, black tea is used in a variety of remedies for the treatment of coronary arterial dysfunction in persons suffering from cardiac ailments. This tea should be consumed at least twice a day to gain desired results.

Cures Diarrhea – Owing to the ample availability of tannins in black tea, it is usually recommended by naturopathists to persons suffering from diarrhea or alike abdominal disorders. To gain complete relief this tea should be consumed thrice a day for a minimum of seven days. In addition with providing soothing effect on abdomen, an increased intake of black tea also aids in eliminating inflammations from digestive tract and curing indigestion, constipation etc.

Cures Respiratory Ailments – Persons suffering from any sort of respiratory ailments or inflammation should drink at least one cup of warm black tea daily to relax the tensed muscles of respiratory tract which further assists in easy breathing. It is advisable for people suffering from severe bronchitis, asthma etc to consume a minimum of two cups of black tea daily to confine the accumulation of cough over lungs.

Reduces Bad Cholesterol – In accordance with advisories issued by AHA (American Health Association), it is revealed that drinking three or four cups of black tea daily is much valuable in reducing levels of bad cholesterol in body. It is evident that people with high levels of bad cholesterol are more prone to develop heart diseases as compared to others who consume black tea on regular basis.

Good for Females – Several studies had revealed that consumption of black tea aids in preventing the growth of cancer cells, especially in females. Regular intake of black tea elevates the level of globulin hormones during menstrual cycles. It is recommended for females in pre menstrual phase to drink at least three to four cups of black tea daily to avert the pain and other symptoms.

Good for Teeth – Since ages, the consumption of black tea is advocated by naturopathists to retain good health of teeth. The amount of fluoride present in black tea is relatively high in comparison to other varieties of tea. Daily consumption of black tea prevents dental ailments and strengthens teeth roots.
