Stress is a condition that we bring on ourself. Only our own menta state can help the way we feel. There are some foods that are also beneficial in fighting stress.

A few sweets or a little chocolate can help lift your spirits. The sugar content is greatly beneficial in raising endorphin levels which help make you feel better.

A handful of popcorn ow whole grain crackers are also great stress busters. Serotonin, a feel-good chemical emitted by the brain with the intake of these starchy carbohydrate rich foods can restore calm and also relieve depression.

Have upto a cup of potatoes or some low fat pusdding. Their status as comfort foods is great.
Omega 3 fatty acids help reduce the risk of irritability. Have some slamon or sardines to combat stress.

A glass of milk is another great option. The high calcium, magnesium and ptassium levels in milk keep blood pressure down, an drinking warm milk especially helps restore calm to many people.

Eating cereals gives you more sustained energy and also clearer thinking through the day. Research suggests that a bowl of cereal had every day is associated with lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
