Herbal Remedies for Dry Skin
You can boil crushed and dried basil leaves in water to create a mixture. This mixture can be applied on the body to reduce the skin dryness. A paste can be created by mixing the juice extracted from fresh basil leaves (2 tablespoons) and mashed papaya (2 teaspoons) and applied on the body to obtain effective results. A mixture can also be created with the use of aloe vera gel (1 tablespoon) or aloe vera juice (3 tablespoons) and rose oil (2 teaspoons) and applied on the body to obtain the desired results.
You can create a paste by mixing soaked and grinded poppy seeds in milk. Rubbing this herbal paste on the body on a frequent basis can treat various symptoms associated with dry skin. A mixture of grinded poppy seeds and yogurt can also be applied on the affected area to reduce skin dryness.
