Ginkgo Biloba – This is one of the most effective herbs to treat disorders of gastrointestinal tract. This herb should be consumed in powdered form for at least 7 days. Consuming this herb on diagnosis of early symptoms of crohn’s diseases, aids in preventing abdomen from inflammation.

Green Tea – Consumption of green tea several times during a day assists in rapid elimination of inflammation in body caused by crohn’s disease. It also reduces the risk of cancer which is a potential complication of crohn’s disease.

Uncaria Tomentosa – This is another very effective and mostly used herbal remedy in the treatment of crohn’s disease. The bark of this herb should be used to make a tea like drink. Drinking this warm herbal tea leads to almost instantaneous relief from abdominal pain and sense of vomiting.

Boswella – Regular consumption of this herb 3 times daily for a minimum of 15 days helps in permanent elimination of inflammation from whole body. The recommended daily dosage of bosewella is 450 mg distributed in three equal doses.

Hydrastis Canadensis – Since ages, American Indians had used this herb to treat inflammations of GI tract and respiratory diseases. Daily dosage of Hydrastis canadensis in crohn’s disease confines the bacterial growth in lower part of intestine.

Aloe Vera – Aloe Vera is known for its unlimited benefits in treating countless ailments naturally. It is advisable for a person experiencing crohn’s disease to consume aloe vera for a minimum of 15 days to soften the stools. Hardened stools, caused by crohn’s disease apply painful stress on large intestine.
