Ginseng is a herb that has gained immense popularity. Found originaly in Korea, the glory of ginseng has reached virtually every corner of the world.

Many varieties of ginseng like the American, Chinese, and others are found in the market. The root is used  in many medicinal remedies. It is a tonic and has a soothing effect on the mucus membrane. It is also useful in toning the digestive system. The main ginseng property is its ability to subside the element of fire in the body, and in the purification of blood.

Ginseng is good for women in that it helps bring about clear flow of the menses. It is useful in bringing vim, vigour and vitality. It normalises the appetite, improves digestion, absorption and assimilation. It helps tone the brain, heart and other vital organs of the body.

Ginseng stops the water element of the body, and is therefore a good cure for coughs, colds, chills, dyspnoea and other respiratory disorders.

Ginseng can be taken as tea, and other tonics that are available. Ginseng is also available in tablet form and is equally potent. Like ginger, ginger finds ideal use in aqueous, moisturous countries.

Dill is used as a fragrant, aromatic mouthwash after food. The seeds contain a stimulant quality, subside pain in the stomach and bring clear urine. Dill is also useful in increasing the quantity of breast milk and subsiding air, therefore being a good remedy for colic and distension. Distilled water of dill is given to infants as gripe water.

Dill is good for ladies. It brings clear urine and cures vaginal disorders. Powder of fresh dill, when heated with a little oil and kept in the vagina after a miscarriage helps expel residue and clears the reproductory system.
