A Boil is formed due to concentration of bacterial infection at a certain region in body. The initial appearance of the boil is slight reddened and tender spot which later develops into an abscess filled with white blood cells, bacteria and protein.

The root causes of boils are staphylococcus germs, ingrown hair and wedged pollutants on skin. In most of cases, it is possible to treat boils with home remedies. Garlic and Onion – Garlic and Onions are widely acknowledged as most effectual remedies for boils and several other treatments. A blend containing equivalent proportion of onion and garlic juice should be applied externally over boils to assist quick maturity. Once fully grown and pus is visible, break it and remove the white substance from its core. Post pus removal an antiseptic lotion should be applied over and surrounding abscess.

Bitter Gourds – Daily consumption of one cup of fresh bitter gourd juice diluted with one tablespoon of fresh lime juice on an empty stomach delivers quick results.

Milk Cream – A blend of 1 tbsp of each milk and vinegar with petite quantity of turmeric powder aids to ripen the early boils and also prevents early blood boils from becoming infectious.

Cumin Seeds – The paste of grounded cumin seeds and water should be applied externally over boils and skin surrounding boils for immediate relief from pain and etching.

Margosa Leaves – Margosa leaves due to their antibacterial properties endows effective results against skin diseases. To prepare a decoction 15 gm margosa leaves should be boiled in 500 ml water till it is reduced by 1/3. Daily consumption of margosa decoction leads to skin detoxification.

Parsley – Soak parsley in boiled water until it turns into a soft and juicy substance. Envelope hot parsley in a clean linen and use it as a poultice on boils.

Turmeric – Direct appliance of turmeric powder on boils paces up the healing process and is one of the majorly used home remedies. The ashes of roasted turmeric roots should be mixed in a cup of water to prepare a solution with great antibacterial properties. This solution ought to be applied externally over boils for quick results.
