Suffering from itches is routine, and bound to occur at some time. Caused from a variety of reasons, including allergy, use of defective products, and also from an attack of some insect. While there is nothing really fatal caused from itching, it can be a very irritable experience. When combined with visible patches or some other boils, it can also be quite dificult to manage.
Aloe Vera is an extremely good cure. This can help control itching and cool the area. It also helps in reducing hives, boils and spots that can occur.
The use of cod liver oil or vitamin E oil is also known to be beneficial when applied to affected portions.
Soak a fistfull of poppy seeds in water overnight. Grind well and keep aside. Take some coconut milk, rice gruel and curd in equal proportions, and to this mix the ground poppy. Apply well to the affected areas, and let it stay for a while before washing off.
Cornstarch makes another effective cure for itching. This can either be mixed into the bath water, or dusted on the body.
Use a pumice stone on the itching areas lightly. Wash with mild cleanser or baby soap. Once done, generously use some vaseline on the skin to get rid of itching sensations.
The application of a cold compress is very useful in bringing down itching sensations immediately.
Adding a little vinegar to the bath is a good way in curing itching.
Using a little milk in your bath can also help greatly. Try adding products like oatmeal or almond powder to make interesting variations that could actually work very well for the skin, and help improve the condition greatly.
White foods like bananas and litchis can help cure allergies and itching sensations very well. Make them a regular feature of your diet.
