How To Clean The Lungs

Lung is an important organ in our body and that plays an important role in keeping us alive. With out breath we can’t live for more than a few minutes and lungs do the breathing process.

Hence it is important to keep the lungs in good condition. Lungs take in the oxygen from the air and expel the carbon dioxide that is present in the body. If you have a mucus accumulation in the bronchial tract then the detoxification process of the lungs becomes difficult.

Avoid foods that are prone to create mucus like the milk and the milk products and include more of foods that are anti mucus in function and it includes garlic, cayenne pepper, fresh ginger, onion, fresh grounded black pepper, horse radish etc. here are some effective ways to clean the lungs.

Lemon Juice and Cayenne Pepper

Take a glass of warm water and add some lemon juice in to it and also add a pinch of cayenne pepper. To this mixture add one teaspoon honey and mix them well. Drink this liquid early in the morning in empty stomach. You can also drink plain lemon juice before your breakfast and this will help you to digest the alkalizing foods that you have taken and will help the lungs to regenerate it.

Juices with Ginger and Cinnamon

Mix eight ounce of broth or juices taken from the following vegetables and fruits like celery, apple, berries, pineapple etc. to this juice mix add some ginger juice and cinnamon powder and drink this mixture at least once in a day. If required add water to this mixture.

You can also drink grape fruit juice mixed with pure water or with pineapple juice. The antioxidants present in these juices will give you healthy lungs.

Also try carrot juice after your meals or breakfast. The beta carotene with in the carrot juice will be converted in to vitamin A and it plays an important role in cleaning the lungs. Carrot juice will also help you to alkalize your blood.

Take almost 10 ounce of cranberry juice before going to bed and this will help you to fight against the bacteria present in the lungs. The powerful anti oxidants in cranberry will helps you to make a pure and healthy blood.

Mucus Cleansing Tea

Make a tea with ginger, rose hips and pepper mint and take this just one hour before the start of your dinner. This gives you relief from mucus build up, congestion and stuffy nose.
