How to Fight Blood Pressure


Blood pressure is the force of blood against artery walls.

The pressure of the circulating blood decreases as it moves away from the heart through arteries and capillaries, and toward the heart through veins.

Avoid food items with high salt content. Those of us who wish to prevent blood pressure, must make it a habit to avoid salt in preparations. While eating, just add 6gms of salt directly to your food.

Women who have a tendency of high blood pressure must drink at least 2 liters of water every day.

Many studies concerning different age groups and differing exercise have shown that usual physical activity lowers blood pressure or those who have hypertension.

An evaluation of over 20 physical activity and blood pressure studies showed that, systolic blood pressure is lowered about 11 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure is reduced an average of 8 mm Hg with regular exercise.

Those effects have been recognized for men, women, and children and can occur after just a few weeks of training. Nearly all exercises lower blood pressure. Exercise such as walking, jogging, swimming. stair climbing can help control blood pressure.
