How to Get Rid of Black Heads

Black heads are formed as a result of the clogging of the skin pores with dead cells and sebum. It then get hardened there and makes the skin pore enlarge. This leads to increased air contact and finally the sebum gets oxidized and turns to black. It mostly appears on the nose, cheeks, chin etc. Enlarged and plugged skin pores thus give a rough skin surface. Moreover the black heads lead to pimple and acne on the skin surface. Hence you need to treat these black heads.

Causes of Black Heads

The major cause for black heads is the oil plugging of the skin pore. Pollution and dirty skin surface also increases your chance for getting the disease. Sometimes the hormonal imbalance also activates the sebaceous gland and it produces more oil leading to black heads.

Remedies for Black Heads

Diet

Try to avoid the junk foods, excess dairy foods, meat, refined sugar etc as it increases your chance for getting black heads. Instead take nutritious and healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin in good condition. Substitute your ordinary tea and coffee with herbal teas.

Curd and Black Pepper Powder

Take a teaspoon of powdered black pepper and mix it with enough curd to make a paste. Then spread this paste on the black head affected region and leave it for 6 minutes or till it becomes dry. Then wash off with cool water. This helps you to get rid of the black heads.

Radish

Get some radish seeds and make a paste of it along with some water. Spread this paste on the affected area and keep it till it gets dried. Rinse the dried paste with cool water.

Cucumber

Take a cucumber and peel it. Cut the cucumber in to pieces and make a paste out of it in a blender or mixer. Apply this paste on the skin and leave it for 25 minutes. This may help you to get rid of the black heads and at the same times makes your skin clean and cool.

Try to ex-foliate your skin once in a week and this may help you to remove the excess oil, dead tissues and dirt on the skin and can thus keeps the skin pores clean.
