How to Make Peppermint Foot Scrub
If you have rough and scaly skin on your foot then you can choose peppermint foot scrub to get rid of the rough skin. The essential oil present in peppermint act as an emollient and aids in smoothing and soothing the skin. This may help you to soften your skin with out going to the beauty saloon every week.
Tips to Make Peppermint Foot Scrub
Peppermint Foot Scrub with Oatmeal and Cornmeal
Take equal quantities that are ¼ cups of oatmeal and cornmeal in a bowl and add one tablespoon salt. Mix them well and add little water to make a creamy paste. However this paste will have grit like feeling. Pour three drops of peppermint essential oil to the bowl and combine them well. Apply this mixture on your feet and gently scrub your feet and care should be given to scrub the heels and the areas under the toes. After wards rinse off the scrub with warm water.
Peppermint Foot Scrub with Epsom Salt
Get one cup of Epsom salt in a bowl and to this pour half cup of cold water. Make a paste out of Epsom salt and cold water and make sure the mixture is not in a liquid texture. Then pour two drops of peppermint essential oil. Use this mixture to scrub the foot in circular motions. Once you finished the scrubbing then rinse off with warm water.
Peppermint Foot Scrub with Almond Oil
Get 1 ¼ cup of coarse sea salt in a bowl and then add ¼ cup of almond oil and three drops of peppermint essential oil to this. Combine the entire mixture well. Soak your feet in tepid water for about 15 minutes and scrub the feet with this mixture for about 10 minutes. Then wash off with warm water.
Peppermint Foot Scrub with Lavender and Vanilla Extract
Take one and a half cup of sea salt in a bowl and to this add one tablespoon vanilla extract and two drops of lavender essential oil. If you prefer to have very smooth consistency then add two tablespoon almond oil. Then add three drops of peppermint essential oil and mix well. Then use this mixture to scrub your feet and then rinse with warm water.
After scrubbing, moisturize your feet with a cream or lotion. This will impart smooth and soft skin on your feet.
