Most of the people like to have bright smile. Most of you may have white teeth initially and it’s your habits like smoking, eating, tobacco chewing etc. makes your teeth colored. Nicotine present in cigarette, pan and in your food items stained your teeth and the groves of the teeth yellow and brown along with a bad breath.
Drinking too much coffee or tea may also cause the same effect. You can’t remove this stain easily with regular brushing. More than that some fruits and vegetables may also leave some stain over your teeth like grapes, cranberry, blackberry, beets etc. Brushing your teeth after taking these fruits and fruit juices may help you to remove these stains.

Change Your Habit
Once you notice your teeth getting stained then try to limit your habits like smoking, tobacco chewing and drinking too much tea and coffee. This will make a significant difference in your teeth color. Also avoid foods that contain acids like the citrus fruits and starchy foods as these foods may cause discoloration to your teeth. Also avoid chocolate and sweets before going to bed as it encourage the development of bacteria and acid that may destroy your teeth. If you are taking such food items then make sure you have washed your mouth properly with enough water or brush your teeth.
Salt
Alter your tooth paste with common salt at least two times a week and this will help you to retain your natural teeth color.
Strawberry
Take six strawberries that are ripe and make a puree along with two teaspoon of baking soda, one cup water and one teaspoon cream of tartar. Apply this puree over your teeth for the entire night. Continue this for about a week and you can retain your white teeth.
Sugarless Chewing Gum
Use a piece of sugarless chewing gum after having any thing that stains your teeth. This will help you to produce enough saliva that can wash out the darkening agents before they cause stain on your teeth.
Bicarbonate Soda
Use bicarbonate soda to brush your teeth at least once in a week and again brush your teeth with your normal tooth paste. This will help you to remove the stain from teeth.
