How to Tackle Food Poisoning
Consumption of food containing bacteria or virus, results in food poisoning. The effects may be immediate or late in appearance, depending upon the intensity of your immunity power and the strength of the bacteria or virus. Sometimes the symptoms of food poisoning may appear within one hour of consumption. In few cases however it may take 1-2 days to show indications of food poisoning.
Poisoning of food reduces the body fluids at an alarming rate, thus care must be taken to ensure that the lost water is replaced in the body.
Some commonly seen symptoms are…
Vomiting
Often the food responsible for the poisoning is vomited out as a whole, making it easier for us to find out the source of the poisoning.
Stomach ache, loose motion
The pain gets concentrated towards the centre of the stomach; it is very painful.
It is through loose motion, that the body fluids are lost. A lot of weakness is experienced thereafter.
Headache, fever
They do not follow the above in all cases. After loss of body fluids, the body temperature gets imbalanced, resulting in fever or headache.
Unconsciousness
This is experienced only in extreme cases.
