Instant Cures – Home Remedies For Bruises

February 4, 2009

The body bruises when hurt. Some of them can be in more obvious places, and can take long before the clot eases and discoluration fades away. To make things worse, there are some people who bruise very easily. A small pat may be all it takes to cause a big, purple bruise. It may take the application of many creams and products to hide marks.

But simple cures in the convenience of your home can help hide bruises, and heal them quickly. These can help cut down on the swelling, cause the redness to reduce, and can cure much faster.

Apply some ice around the affected area. This will help reduce the swelling and keep it in check. It also prevents the bruise from spreading to the surrounding area.

The faster the ice is applied on getting hurt, the more effective it is. Alternatively, any steel spoon or small vessel that has been refrigerated can also be used to numb the area and heal faster. It helps the clots cure quickly.

Once the wound is not very fresh, use a cloth dipped in warm water and apply on the bruise. Repeat this at least four or five times for beneficial results. This helps regulate the flow of blood, and fades the mark left behind. Try using tea bags instead of the cloth. They are known to be as useful.

Use a soft brush or comb, and rub around the bruise. This can actually help the circulation of blood, and speed the healing process greatly. Avoid being harsh, this could actually cause more redness to the areas instead.

The last resort to hiding bruises is to use some cosmetic concealer. It is handy and can camouflage the skin to match the rest of the tone. When all else fails, let deceit prevail.
