Jasmine flowers are noted not only for their beauty and for fragrance, but they also have medicinal properties. Jasmine flowers are largely consumed in the form of tea. Oil extracted from jasmine flowers are used for treating several illnesses.
Antioxidant
The plant compounds present in jasmine are stashed with antioxidant properties. By flashing out free radicals from the body, jasmine can prevent several cancers and heart diseases related to the oxidation of free radicals in the body. The antioxidant property of jasmine can also delay the aging process.
Reduces cholesterol
Jasmine is beneficial for reducing the level of bad cholesterol in the body. It could inhibit absorption of cholesterol that enters our body through saturated fat rich diet.
