Lesser Known Reasons For Scanty Hair
We all often believe that thin, scanty hair is caused by improper care and harm done to the hair. Illness is another cause that is often attributed to scanty hair. While tuberculosis and typhoid can cause excessive thinning of the hair, these are by no means the only factors responsible.
Often, we bring problems like scanty and thin hair on ourselves. We tend to take our body for granted, and give it little or no attention at all. Our lifestyle and food choices often get translated into weak teeth, bones and hair.
Scanty hair is often the result of too much stress. Lack of adequate rest and sleep are known to accelerate hair loss, and make the hair weak and steadily lead to scanty hair. Smoking can also ewaken the hair, leaving it less healthy. Improper and inadequate diets can lead to blocking the flow of blood to the roots of the hair, and cause them to break and shed more easily. Strain on the eyes are also known to accelerate hair loss.
Start by avoiding red meats and heavy fats from the diet. They can directly impact the quality of your hair, and cause thinning. Include fresh foods. Nuts are a good food source to include. Soya, milk, cottage cheese, mushroom and chicken are also good in arresting this problem. Fish has been found to be a food that is not only good for the skin, but also for the hair.
Make sure you give yourself some form of exercise. Exercising not only stimulates the body and its proper functioning, but also helps in destressing the body. Exercise is known to regulate blood circulation to all parts of the body, including the hair.
A little care and some routine is all that is needed to tackle scanty hair.
