Makeup For Wheatish Skin

January 30, 2009

Wheatish skin can be very appealing. This looks very healthy and cared for, and gives out a very rich look to the skin. Wheatish complexion needs very little make up, just a little attention to highlight great looking features, and give the face a slight accent.

The most popular mistake made by people with wheatish skin make is to try and make the skin look fairer. Not only does this cause the skin to lose its appeal, but also causes the face to look rather tacky. Here are simple ways and tips to give wheatish skin stunning looks with your make up.

Warm, earthy tones are best suited for this skin type. Whether on the lips, or the eyes, the best colours to chose from are bronze, maroons and browns.

If your lips are dark, try using a little foundation and some powder on the lips before you use any make up or lipstick on it.

Use peaches and light browns on the cheeks. This helps soften them, and helps make the other features stand out better.

To make the eyes stand out better, use a shade of silver around them.

The key to making success of your make up is by starting to embrace the way you look. There is always something that everyone is gifted with that you can work around.

There are always features that you might want to play down. But once you have understood and accepted yourself for the way that you are and look, it becomes easier to dress up.

The best way to dress up is to make sure you dress down. It is always better to dress conservatively and look conservative rather than dress extravagantly and look gaudy. Good dressing is also about dressing smartly.
