It is essential to apply olive oil on wet hair to ensure that the oil reaches the scalp and is not absorbed by dry hair. Olive oil should be applied with a cotton swab or brush. You should use a shower cap to cover your head after the application and remove oil after a period of 30 to 45 minutes.

Vitamin D

You can consume food items containing vitamin D to deal with the problem of seborrheic dermatitis. Intake of liver, egg yolks, fish such as salmon, mackerel and sardines and mushrooms can provide vitamin D.
