We all have our own favourite fruits. Peculiarities in the taste, appearance and nature of fruits make them liked and disliked by some. There are some fruits that have a universal appeal. One such fruit is the pineapple. In fruit form or even as a juice, it is liked by most, including children.

Pineapples are found easily everywhere, and are an ideal fruit for the summer. Sweet and refreshing, the fruit is full of juice and makes the ideal summer beater.

Pineapples can be eaten plain, spiced up with seasoning, used in some vegetables to give a sweet and slightly sour effect, in salads and even in desserts. The ability to complement all flavours and tastes makes the pineapple an easy fruit to combine with most foods. It adds its own flavour to food without taking away from the taste of the other ingredients. Its appeal is universal, and its properties are many.

The juice of the pineapple is a good cure for sunstroke. Pineapples are good fruits for the summer since they are cool, and also help with heatstrokes. They are great thirst quenchers.

The fruit eaten with rock salt and pepper help improve digestion.

Pineapple eaten with pepper and sugar help cure acidity.Intestinal disorders can also be cured by having the ripened fruit after meals.

When eaten with a little pepper powder, pineapple can help cure polyurea.

Eaten after meals, pineapple works as a good vermicidal.

Weakness in fever can be cured by having the juice of pineapple with a little honey. The high levels of sugar in the fruit help give instant energy.

Use the pineapple in as many ways as you can. Not only are you gratifying the taste buds, but making full use of the potent qualities filled in the fruit. It is a blessing in many ways.
