Overcoming stress is a major challenge of the current time. However, we can reduce stress naturally even without professional interventions. If your regular life is steeped in stress, you can easily combat stress by including certain stress busting techniques in your daily routine.
Meditation
Mediation is the most effective method of overcoming stress. You should practice meditation every day to reduce stress. Meditation will help you to find peace of mind. It also helps to enhance your mental strength. For best results, meditate early in the morning. Sit in a quite place in your house.
Close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing. Try to keep stray thoughts away from your mind. Initially it might be difficult to concentrate. However, your concentration will improve with practice. Regular meditation for at least 15 to 20 minutes could help to reduce stress.

Exercise
Spending time in the gym can help to escape stress. Workouts, yoga and aerobic exercises will help to lift your mood.
Feel good foods
The popular feel good foods are laden with sugar and refined carbohydrates. Instead of consuming these unhealthy feel good foods, you can have nutritious foods to reduce stress. Dry fruits, berries, low fat dairy products and whole grain products will not only lift your mood, but they will also supply essential nutrients to your body.
