Packing The Body To Perfection
We all take great care of our face and body by pampering them with regular facials and pedicures. As for the rest of the body, we only sometimes give it the benefit of an occasional massage.
The body also wears down with time. Prolonged stress and strain, combined with climatic and environmental changes can cause a lot of damage to the body as well. There may be problems like pigmentation, dryness and even scaly appearance of the skin. Simple tips and treatment can help you care for the skin in the convenience of your home. There may be no need to get to the spa to save your skin after all.
For body that is dry and looks lifeless, try a pack using different fruits like papayas, banana and some apple crush. Make a mixture of all these fruits making sure they are well ripened and soft. To this, add a little fresh cream, two beaten eggs, and some rose water.
Blend all the ingredients together and apply well to the whole body, and rest for a while. After about half an hour, or once the pack has dried out completely, wash the body with warm water and avoid using any soap on the body. This will help restore balance and shine to the skin, making it softer.
For scaly skin, you might be in need of exfoliation. Take some milk, and to it add oatmeal. Mix them together well and set aside for a while. Add some honey, and apply generously over the body. Once dried, rinse off well. This will rejuvenate the whole body and leave the skin looking fresher and younger.
A point to bear in mind while applying all body packs is to ensure that the neck and face regions are omitted. This is because their conditions might vary from those of the rest of the body, and specific care directed towards them is needed.
