As per the researchers of FDA, a major number of teenagers in America tend to develop diseases owing to the lack of nutrition in their daily diets. Increasing trend of junk and fast food is responsible for elevated reports of cardiac and other severe diseases.

As of today, America is only summit nation where majority of teenagers prefer junk food instead of consuming healthy diets.  Given below are a number of potential nutrition problems that an individual might develop symptoms of, in absence of adequate dietary habits.

Increased Weight, Glucose and Cardiovascular Diseases –The root cause responsible for increasing cases of teenage obesity is owing to lack of exercises, higher intake of low nutritious diet and inadequate lifestyle. Availability of easy to cook or instant foods are also causative factors for increased weight, diabetes and heart problems in teenagers. A person keen to reduce chances of obesity and other severe ailments should at all costs discourage the consumption of unhealthy foods.

Consumption Disorder – It is common that young children become very conscious of looks and undergo stress to be slim or to appear a definite way. Apprehension of acquiring fat results in excessively restrictive dietary routine or intake of laxatives. Eating disorders are a quite common among adolescents. Consumption disorder results in fatigue, impaired immune system together with increased risks of viral diseases. Juice fasting is a good and safe method to lose weight naturally.

Pregnancy – Lack of awareness in young pregnant females poses threat to future mother as well as to her baby. Several studies have confirmed that intake of nutrition and healthy foods in ample quantities are necessary to prevent a child from birth defects. The daily nutrition requirement of a pregnant lady is relatively higher as compared to normal people.

Athletes – Youngsters involved in athletic activities usually experience strain to maintain a precise weight or to compete at a definite level. The technique of crash dieting is very popular among such individuals. However, crash dieting leaves a person’s body with impaired metabolic balances which further leads to total failure of performance. The best way to maintain weight is to follow diets intended to boost metabolism and immune system.
