Problem-Free Menstruation

Menstrual problems are a common ailment among ladies, especially young unmarried girls. Mostly all menstrual problems are hormonal and cause anxiety and irritation. Pain in the abdomen, cramps and low flows are common menstrual problems along with nausea, insomnia and headaches and depression. Since the entire process is controlled by hormones, it is best to use natural ways to cure them.
Remedies
Ginger
Ginger is a useful remedy for menstrual disorders, especially in case of painful menstruation and stoppage of menstrual flow. Take of piece of fresh ginger and pound it well. Boil it in a cup of water and sweeten it using sugar or honey. Drink this as a medicine two to three times a day before the date of menstruation. This will help reduce the pain and also regulate the flow.
Sesame seeds
Sesame seeds are very good cure for pains and cramps during menstruation. Take 1/2tsp of sesame-seed powder with warm water two times a day for three days prior to the date of menstruation. This stops the pain during menstruation in young, unmarried anemic girls.
Banana Flower
Banana flower is one of the most efficient home remedies in treating menorrhagia or excessive menstruation. One banana flower should be cooked and consumed with one cup of curd. This will increase the quantity of progesterone and decrease the bleeding.
Coriander Seeds
Coriander seeds are also helpful in the treatment of excessive menstruation. Boil six grams of these seeds in half a litre of water. Boil this decoction till the water is reduced to half. Add sugar to it. The patient should drink it when it is still warm.
Papaya
The unripe papaya helps in stimulating the contractions of the muscle fibres of the uterus and is thus helpful in starting a proper menstrual flow. Papaya is especially useful when menstruation ceases due to stress or fright in young unmarried girls.
Parsley
Parsley is one of the most efficient home remedies in the treatment of menstrual disorders. It increases menstruation and helps in the regularization of the monthly periods. This action is due to the presence of apiol, which is a ingredient of the female sex hormone ‘estrogen’.
Cramps, which are a consequence of menstrual irregularities, are relieved and regularly corrected entirely by the regular use of parsley juice, particularly in conjunction with beet juice. Drink a cup of parsley and beet juice daily, three days before the date of menstruation. This helps in giving relief from all forms of pain and cramps during periods.
Apart from these, one must do those special exercises and yoga to get relief from cramps and pains, especially in the lower abdomen and thighs.
