Protection From Piles

Piles often strike when we least expect it. Piles are a painful and irritating condition. Difficult to get rid of completely, piles can last for a long time if gone untreated. It can also lead to many serious infections.

Piles are often caused due to constipation. It is common to have piles when pregnant and after child birth. Piles also occurs as we age.

The best way to treat piles is to increase the intake of fibrous foods. These help regulate bowel movements and prevent constipation.

Fomentation using onions also helps arrest bleeding piles. Use hot fomentation on the affected area with finely chopped onions for relief.

Cook yams with onions and make a vegetable. Yams are very good cures for piles and should be consumed regularly.

Bark powder is another tested cure. Take two or three grams of bark powder in warm water and drink it daily to help control piles.

Pomegranate makes another good cure for piles. Juice of the pommegranate when drunk daily helps relieve piles.

Mix some salt in warm water and put in a shallow tub. Sit in this water for a few minutes regularly for instant relief. The warm water soothes, while the salt in it helps heal the piles well.

Application of coconut oil is another good remedy since it relieves the pain and also cures the piles quickly.

It is an ancient belief that silver helps cure piles. Take a silver utensil and rub it against a stone to get silver paste. Local application of silver is known to treat piles.

Take good care of the body, and use simple remedies to keep piles away. Treating piles is easy once you know how.
