Quick & Nutritious Breakfast

Nutritious breakfast not only provides strength and energy to body but also affects ones’ temperament by uplifting mood. A healthy breakfast ought to consist of variety of foods that are rich in proteins and consist of low fats and carbs instead of the foods which contains ample amounts of sweeteners like muffins, pastries, bread, pancakes etc.

These results in increase of sugar levels in blood stream followed by ultimate drop of sugar level while, fat enriched foods and snacks are well-known for their long lasting adverse effects on the total health including metabolism and heart of an individual. Consumption of nutritious and healthy foods which require less time for their preparation are the best option for breakfast.

Given below are few easy to cook and health giving foods suitable for breakfast.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal being good source of soluble and non-soluble fibers helps to regulate metabolism and regular consumption of oats shield body against diabetes and severe ailments related with heart. Cook oatmeal with milk according to the mentioned cooking time on the packing. Then add some sugar or honey subsequently garnish with chopped almonds and blueberries.

Tofu

Tofu consists of high levels of proteins and lower levels of fats and for this reason it is acknowledged as ideal for breakfast. A blend of mashed tofu with chopped onions, green & yellow pepper juliennes, chopped garlic, salt to taste and black pepper powder should be prepared. Afterwards, heat some olive oil and then mix tofu mixture in this heated oil and cook for two minutes, before serving.

Fruits

Fruits are natural energizers that contain fibers, natural sugar and low fats. Chop a variety of fresh fruits and mix with table salt, lemon juice, black pepper, as per taste. Delectable and nutritious fruit salad for breakfast is ready. Prepare delicious and attractive fruit salads by using honey for the toppings of chopped fruits.

Yogurt

Cut deseeded cucumber tomatoes and apple in small pieces and mix in low fat yogurt. Add some grapes and berries in it and sprinkle salt and black pepper powder for seasoning. Consuming a bowl of this dish endows refreshing and energized feeling till end of day.

Protein shake

Blend one banana with a glass of skim milk and add one scoop of protein powder to it. Besides banana shake, shakes prepared of peanut butter, eggs, fish and low-fat cottage cheese are also good options for nutritious breakfast.
