Quick Remedies to Stop Bleeding
All of us suffer bleeding from cuts at some time in life. Bleeding can be from small or large cut and depending up on the severity of cut you need to care it. If any of your nerves, veins etc got cut then you need immediate medical care. If you have a small cut that bleeds then certain home remedies may be sufficient to stop the bleeding.Home Remedies
Apply Pressure
You can apply pressure on the cut directly with a clean hand or with a clean and soft cloth. Keep the pressure on the wound for about 5 minutes and this may help the blood to clot and also aid in the proliferation of fibroblast.
Honey
When you have a cut then first thing you need to do is to clean the wound. Then apply a few drops of honey on the wound and the antibacterial property of honey helps you in healing the wound.
Yarrow Leaf
After cleaning the wound apply the juice taken from fresh yarrow leaves on the wound. You can crush the fresh yarrow leaves and spread it on the wound. You can either leave these crushed leaves on the wound for about 15 minutes or can wrap a bandage over the leaves. The antiseptic property of yarrow leaves may help you to stop the bleeding and to heal the wound.
Teabag
Wash your wound first and then soak a plain teabag in cold water. When the teabag is saturated fully then takes it out and squeezes half of the water from it. Now apply it on the cut with a mild pressure and keep it in the position for 10 minutes. This will help you to stop the bleeding. Never keep a spiced teabag as it will cause burning sensation.
Cayenne Pepper
Apply cayenne pepper on the wound surface and this may help you to remove the toxins from the cut by bringing blood to the cut surface. This turn helps you to stop bleeding and to heal the wound.
Sugar
Spread a little sugar on the cut surface and when the sugar melts it may form a paste around the wound. This in turn speeds up the clotting process. The antibacterial property of sugar may helps to heal the wound quickly.
