Rare Remedies for Great Looking Skin

November 10, 2008

We often do what is most common in order to improve the quality of our skin. Popular regimens, common cosmetics and used remedies are what we like to stick to in order to be safe.

There are some skin care tips which are lesser known. These can be used to great advantage to bring about better skin quality and tone.

Corriander leaves should be mixed with some raw onion and blended well. This when applied on the face regularly helps improve the quality of the skin greatly.

Apply the milk of the donkey to the skin to give it softness. This is a remedy that is believed to be used by Cleopatra for glowing skin.

Cleopatra might have used the fresh mud from the silt of the river Nile. You could try and use Fuller’s earth. Dead sea products are also available and find good use for the skin.

Take the cream of milk of curd and mix with lukewarm water. Wash the face with this liquid twice a week as a substitute to soap.

Mix milk with some lemon juice. Wash the face with this ixture once a week for fairer, softer skin.

Take the juice of carrot and apply on the face. This helps remove scars left by either scratches, burns or pimples.

Warm coconut oil and apply on the face and massage once a week. This will not only make the face softer, but also increase circulation and give a glow to the face.

Take a break from the routine and go down a road less travelled. You might find remedies that your skin responds to like magic. Its easy, and more fun to experiment when you know you are only doing yourself good.
